Heads Up
Yes, I'm still alive, and have a ton of updates to post! This is a heads up on two accounts: - This web site will be undergoing DRASTIC changes in the next week. I have an entirely new look and content management system almost ready to go. No information will be lost and the entire four years (!) of news archives will be imported, but you may have to update some of your bookmarks. I will also be radically updating the various sections of the site, and I am about 99% sure I will be getting rid of the ezboard forum altogether, since it costs money to keep it ad-free and my server currently comes with free forum software. I'll probably either be using that instead, or re-installing the guest book and just allowing people to leave notes there. - The most pressing update came from Mrs. Adria Budd Johnson herself. I hadn't noticed that this was a time-sensitive update, else I would have posted it sooner. For those of you in the LA area, there will be a screening of Eric and Adria's film, Fishbowl.
Christmas is coming!!!
There always seems to be magic in the air around the Christmas season. I love Christmas for many reasons including getting Christmas cards from all my friends, watching the holiday season movies, seeing all the people I don't normally catch during the year, gifts, and of course gifts... not to mention all the gifts!
DVD News
It completely slipped my mind to mention it on Monday, but as of yesterday, The Work and the Glory: American Zion is out on DVD for purchasing. You can click on that ginormous Bearded!Eric on the left hand side of this page to buy directly from the distributor, or just get it from your favorite retail source. And let us know what you think in the forums! The lovely Kelex will be putting up screencaps of the DVD and making-of featurette in the coming week, and I have also obtained a copy of Eric's 1999 dramatic magnum opus Scorn on DVD, which I will also be screencapping (and before anyone asks - no, not the nude scenes, sorry). A few of you have asked me if I know when the last Work and the Glory film comes out in theaters, and the short answer to that is - no, I don't. However, I've heard two answers both from reliable sources. The first is: November 2006 is the tentative release date. The second is - probably never. It's likely going straight to DVD. I will definitely keep everyone posted as I get more information.

Thanks to copious spammers who have somehow found a security flaw in our current guestbook script, I'm going to have to take the guestbook entirely offline for a bit. The spam I've received numbers in the hundreds just from these past few weeks, and it's overloading my mail server. I intend to re-install it in the very near future, as soon as I find a more secure script. I'll keep the old entries and re-input and backdate them, so no data will be lost.
